It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce that our annual symposium is set for Saturday, April 14, 2012 and will be hosted at the brand new Marlins Ballpark! This will be a great event with panels and speakers covering the most relevant issues in the sports and entertainment industries. We have a beautiful setting thanks to the Marlins organization and will be taking full advantage by giving our guests an opportunity to take a tour and watch the evening’s game against the Houston Astros!

We are excited to announce our first event of the Fall Semester!
On Thursday, September 15, we will host “Covering Labor Issues in Professional Sports: A Panel Discussion on the Intersection of Sports Media & Sports Law.” We have a great group of panelists that will discuss the way that the media covers legal issues in sports with a focus on the recent issues in the NBA and NFL. Following the panel, there will be a networking reception. For attorneys, there will be 1 CLE credit pending Florida Bar approval.
